DiskFlo™ – High Performance Butterfly Valves

  • Double Offset Disc: The DiskFlo butterfly valve’s disc is designed such that it lifts out of the seat immediately upon opening. This eliminates the disc and seat wear reducing the leakage and improves the throttling function of the valve.
  • Flex Lock Seat Design: The seat is so designed that it flexes in both directions for positive shutoff. In the downstream direction the seat rotates onto the disk causing it to push tighter on the disc as the pressure builds. In the upstream direction the seat flattens out causing it to push tighter against the disc.
  • Dual Seat Design: The dual seat design ensures positive sealing even when the soft seat gets worn or damaged. It is also used where fire-safe design is required.
  • High Degree of Interchangeability: The actuator and several internal soft parts are interchangeable with the MASCOT VFlo product range.
  • Ease of Maintenance: The disc and shaft are non-selective meaning that either part can be replaced without the need for replacing the other part. This reduces the spare part replacement cost.
  • Accurate Control: The splined connection between the actuator and shaft results in better accuracy and minimizes loss of motion between the shaft and actuator.
  • Anti-Blowout Shaft: The shaft is so designed that it is protected from blowout.
